We offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We are open year-round, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Our flexible schedule accommodates busy parents and provides peace of mind through regular updates and open communication.
About Me:
Hello parents, and welcome! I am the proud owner and primary caregiver of this licensed home-based daycare in Rockville, MD. As a mother with over 12 years of childcare experience (including 3 years at child care centers), I bring both professional expertise and personal care to your family. I previously served as a director at a child care center before opening my own daycare to pursue my passion for children’s growth and development.
I established Shine Squad with the mission of creating a nurturing environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. I am committed to providing high-quality care tailored to each child’s unique needs while building strong relationships with families in Rockville. I’m grateful to work with children, empowering them with skills, confidence, and compassion to succeed in life.
Philosophy:
At Shine Squad , we prioritize a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth, as well as personalized care to meet the individual needs of each child. We strive to offer engaging activities designed to promote curiosity and creativity, while preparing children for kindergarten and supporting their unique developmental needs. Most importantly, we focus on the safety and security of children, providing care in a pet-free environment. Additionally, I'm CPR, First Aid, and M.A.T certified.
While we are not a bilingual program, I am fluent in English and Urdu and happy to incorporate the language into your child’s day if requested. Snacks are included in tuition

How do you communicate with parents?
We use a parent communication app called Dailyconnect to share daily updates, photos, and reports about your child’s progress and activities. We also hold regular parent-teacher meetings.
What is your policy on sick children?
For the health and safety of all, we ask that children stay home if they are unwell. Our sick policy is in line with pediatric recommendations, and a detailed guideline will be provided upon enrollment.

My home is a safe, nurturing, and stimulating space where children feel secure, valued, and excited to explore. With my training in early childhood education, CPR, and first aid, along with years of hands-on experience, I provide not just care but a warm, supportive foundation for your child’s future.

Our Classes
